HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Highway 12 is now open to all traffic after the recent November Nor'easter. Weather for Thanksgiving week looks great - mostly sunny, highs in the upper 60's, dropping to the 50's late in the week, and best of all, no storms in the forecast. We still have homes available and Outer Beaches provides a free turkey with each Thanksgiving rental. So start packing and come on down for a great holiday on Hatteras Island. The fish are hungry, the sky is Carolina blue, your favorite chair overlooking the ocean awaits, and all of us at Outer Beaches can't wait to deliver our vintage southern hospitality for you.

Coastal Harvesters Farmers Market Tuesday, November 24 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in Buxton

Coastal Harvesters is a local grassroots group that aims to enhance the quality of life on Hatteras Island by providing local harvesters, artists & artisans an opportunity to directly market their goods. Our goal is to educate, encourage and promote local foods and products to strengthen community bonds.
