Studio 12 is a great place to bring the whole family to have some creative fun. With our pottery create your own unique, hand painted souvenir. You can paint your own pottery which is then glazed and fired or you can do mosiacs! Pottery classes, gifts and take-home kits are available.
All ages are welcome and you do not need reservations, unless you are taking a class. The staff of studio 12 are friendly, and super about helping you with what ever you are creating -- even if you do not have any artistic ability!

Zofia Lategano is a lively artist, and her fun gallery reflects her personality. Her specialties are fish prints (using real fish her husband catches) and photography, and you'll find her work alongside the artworks of other locals, including a print maker, map maker, painters, potters and jewelry designers. Zofia offers art classes to kids, including painting and fish printing.

Potters Wes Lassiter and Rhonda Bates own this working studio. You can often catch them at the wheel, and see their functional and decorative pieces on display in the gallery. Rhonda and several other local painters are represented in the painting gallery.
From May through September, the theater is open for the Frisco Jubilee, an opry-style show featuring local musicians, poets and personalities.

Our shop is unique and upscale,carrying everything from seashells to gourmet foods. Many of our products are unique, as we specialize in selling items from local and regional artists and craftspeople. We have a large selection of fine gold and silver jewelry, including Hatteras Island's largest selection of Charles Albert sterling silver jewery. We are also the only retailer on the island carrying Jan Scarborough's beautiful handcrafted sterling and beaded jewelry. We even have sea glass jewelry made from glass collected on Hatteras beaches.
We sell pottery from local and regional potters including Hoffman, Blanket Creek, and Ole Fish House Pottery, as well as nationally renowned artists such as Bill Campbell.
We have a large selection of handmade cards by local artist Pam Donahue (Pamela Papers) and photographers Michael Halminski and Peter Hornby.
Our wall art includes limited edition fine art prints by award winning Linda Browning of Frisco, and photographs by Debi Daugherty. We also carry Kim Moser's wonderful reusable canvas shopping bags.
For the foodies, we have Stonewall Kitchens jams and jellies, and Wind and Willow's yummy soup, dip, and cheeseball mixes. We even have aprons and dishtowels for prep and cleanup. Actually, we can make up some neat gift baskets with an assortment of these items, including dishes for serving the goodies!
We haven't forgotten the children, either. We have award winning Galison and Mudpuppy games, puzzles and books, Douglas stuffed animals, and Stephan Baby accessories.
