I was born and raised in Philadelphia - not as long ago as my partner Jack Kepler, but long enough.

I first visited Hatteras Island during a vacation on the Outer Banks over 20 years ago. On my way home I dreamed of the kind of house I would build when I moved to Hatteras. Eight years later I was sitting on my new sound front deck enjoying a gorgeous sunset with new neighbors.

My boxes from the move were not yet unpacked when I began working at Outer Beaches Realty. I started as a Cottage Coordinator and shortly thereafter became the Housekeeping Manager. I then moved on to a newly created position of Special Projects Coordinator. In this position I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience about property management in a resort area. Outer Beaches became my second home and I began to look for a new challenge within the company. Moving into sales was natural!

I worked with one of my colleagues to open our third office, located in Hatteras, in 1995. A few months later I attained my sales license and I have been selling real estate ever since. Working with buyers and sellers has been extremely rewarding and challenging, which is a perfect fit for me. I continued my education and received both my Broker's license and a Recreation and Resort Specialist certification.

My partner Jack and I enjoy a very successful business in addition to having made many new friends during the eight years we have worked together. We are looking forward to working many more years in the real estate business on our beautiful Hatteras Island.
