I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan a long, long time ago. I was never much of a city boy, so at 18 years old I moved to a small town in north central Pennsylvania where my parents called home. Thirty years later, I retired from being Vice President/Operations Manager of the largest independent Automatic Food Service business in the state. After many years of hard work, I realized that there was more to life and shucked the fast lane for a simpler one.

Over the next 25 years on Hatteras Island I created just what I left behind by starting my own real estate sales, management, construction and development company. Eight years ago (and for the last time), I simplified my life once again and came to Outer Beaches Realty. I teamed up with another agent in the Hatteras Office, Dottie Reed. By constantly striving to provide ultimate service, we are now a very successful and respected sales team that helps buyers and sellers fulfill their desires.

My wife, Shirley, and I enjoy traveling in our RV during the winter and riding our bikes. I also fish every chance I get and am still hoping to catch that prize Pompano.

You can find me chilling out in the Hatteras Office with my flops on (or maybe even barefooted), selling million dollar properties. I now realize the true philosophy for living:

"When we finally learn what most of life is all about... Most of it's gone."
