The Corolla Raceway is an ultimate Indy Kart racetrack that kids and adults will both enjoy. If you are in the Nags Head area, visit the Nags Head Raceway, which is the partner track to Corolla Raceway and is located just north of the Tanger Outlet Center.

Island Revolution Skate Park is a 5,000 foot full concrete skate park designed by local Outer Banks resident Mark Corbett. Some of the unique features of Island Revolution are the bowl with a 9 foot deep end, mini ramp with spine and mini street course with wedge ramps.
During the summer skate clinics will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 10:00 a.m. These last for two hours and the cost is $30.00. Please call for more information.
Free skate is offered on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and there is always a crowd. Even if you do not skate, come to watch!
What You Need to Know
The skate park is $10.00/day during the season and $5.00/day in the off-season.
* Full pads (elbow, knee, and helmet), are required for anyone under 18 years old. Helmet is required for those over 18 years old.
* Everyone is required to fill out a release form so if you are under 18 years old please bring a parent or guardian your first time. Anyone over 18 years old can sign their own release form.
* Full pads are $5.00/day and single set pads are $2.00/day.
* Board rentals are $5.00/day

This 75-foot head boat makes daily trips to the fishing grounds, with individuals paying by the head or a per-person fee to go along. All the gear and tackle you'll need is provided. The Miss Hatteras takes full-day trips to the Gulf Stream and half-day trips to wrecks to bottom fish for bluefish, trout, sea bass, flounder and more. Reservations are required. Call for prices and times. Also at Oden's Dock is the Little Clam, a 42-foot boat that makes inshore and nearshore fishing trips for Spanish and king mackerel and other fish.

History buffs will marvel at the one-third-scale replica of the USS Monitor. Step into ''Storms'', and take an inside, personal look at Outer Banks hurricanes and nor'easters.
Get face to face with an electric eel, giant tarantula, black widow spider, venomous snakes and lionfish in the newest exhibit, ''Bite, Shock, Sting''. Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. year round except on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Admission fees: $8 adults, $7 senior citizens and $6 children ages 6-17. Children ages 5 and under are free.
Featuring the state's largest saltwater tank, this public aquarium is one of three operated by the state. Marine exhibits, touch tanks, films, field trips and daily programs. New to the aquarium is the Bite, Shock, Sting! These venomous animals include rattlesnakes, black widow spiders and lionfish.

The Outer Banks Centre for Dance opened its doors in 1990 and has been in full force ever since under the direction of Artistic Director, Marjorie E. Knapp, member of Dance Educators of America.
The school's main emphasis in in Classical Ballet since it is foundational for all dance forms and it offers a great variety of dance disciplines Classes offered from Beginner to Advanced: Classical Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Tap, Acrobatics, Spanish Flamenco, Irish Riverdance, Ballroom, Pre-school, and Pilates Conditioning classes.
“WE PUT THE BEST SHOW ON THE BEACH” is its logo with an annual student performance showcasing a full-length classical ballet as well as a variety show filled with very entertaining dance numbers.
The Outer Banks Centre for Dance has wood-suspended floors and a dancewear boutique for your convenience.
