KCA Community Fish Fry every Saturday night from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Avon Fire House through Labor Day

Come by for some great local food! The KCA Community Fish Fry is every Saturday night from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Avon Fire House, through Labor Day. The meal includes fresh local fish, homemade cole slaw, and baked beans, along with hush puppies and a drink. The cost is $9 for adults and $6 for seniors and children. Desserts will also be sold for $1each.

All proceeds go to the Kinnakeet Civic Association, which supports various community projects and is also working toward the goal of building a Community Center in Avon. The Civic Association always needs volunteers to sign up for various tasks each weekend. Areas where, the group needs help include Saturday morning prep, Saturday afternoon prep, cooking, serving, and Saturday evening clean-up.
