Very quiet place during off-season for 2-3 couples but could accommodate 4 couples comfortably. Beach access is great. The decks were very nice to sit for drinks and dinner in the evening. The house is large and lay-out is very nice but plan on walking up and down lots of steps to get into the house and in the house between rooms. The upper floor with the kitchen, dining area, and living room is great. Lots of windows and sliding doors for viewing the ocean and great breezes. Sleeping at night with the sliders open is fantastic with nothing but ocean waves crashing on the beach to listen to. The house is in a nice neighborhood but may seem crowded in the busy season. Avon is located south of the busy part of OBX but you can access other areas very easily for more dining options, shopping, and activities. We very much enjoyed our stay there. [less]
