The Durant Station Condominium complex offers spectacular ocean views from each of its 33 properties (Premium 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condos are available). All feature fully equipped kitchens and elevator service to all levels making Durant Station a most convenient choice for all ages. It is generally "handicap friendly" too! (No need to haul luggage and groceries up long flights of stairs. Luggage carts are provided.) All condos provide private ocean front decks, as well as sound side decks for relaxing and viewing colorful sunsets. This nearly new property was built in 2007 in full compliance with all safety codes. Guests are a few short STEPS TO THE OCEAN via a wooden walkway. The Durant Station Condominiums are located in Hatteras Village, on Highway 12. Guests can enjoy a convenient yet quiet location on the beach front, while still being near local restaurants and shops. Durant Station offers an even better guest experience than you might imagine!

At Durant Station, Owners & Guests enjoy a host of amenities, including a large private swimiming pool, with an adjacent hot tub. The Durant Station Club House is "crowned" by the original historic Durant Lifesaving Station tower, a unique relic from Hatteras Island’s past. The Club House is ideal for relaxing with friends, conducting business meetings or retreats, wedding parties and receptions, family reunions, watching "the big game" or simply enjoying the lounge areas, which offer a large-screen TV, a complete kitchen, a pool table with second TV, a gas fireplace, and rest rooms.
The Durant Station Complex is uniquely equipped to host weddings, receptions and special events of all sorts. Participants can occupy Durant condos for convenient access to functions held in the adjacent Club House.
The Durant Station Complex consists of three floors, with the first floor 12 feet above ground. All units are tastefully furnished and fully equipped. Linens and towels are provided to make your stay comfortable as well as memorable. All Durant Station condos have central A/C, flat screen TVs (with cable & HBO), Wireless High-speed Internet access for your laptop, solid surface counters in kitchens & baths, and sprinkler safety systems throughout for your peace of mind. Centrally located on the first floor is a coin-operated laundry facility, which is air conditioned and offers a "Durant ocean view" (Some of the units have a stackable washer/dryer-see individual descriptions). The ample parking lot and walkways are paved with concrete. A fish cleaning table, BBQ grills and outdoor shower facilities complete the picture.
