Whether your requirements are palatial or quaint we have something for everyone. Many of these homes include the finest amenities available from gourmet kitchens, high tech entertainment systems, game rooms with pool tables and the latest electronic toys to heated swimming pools and exercise rooms. Others recall a bygone era were serenity is near and the outside world seems to be a distant illusion. While the distance to the water and views may vary, oceanfront homes generally provide the best views and proximity to the beach. These homes have no other home or buildable lot between you and the beach (unless otherwise notes.) The demand for these homes is high, so please reserve early to ensure you get the home of your choice.

Semi-oceanfront properties sit one lot back from the oceanfront. Semi-oceanfront homes can provide spectacular views rivaling even oceanfront vistas! However the view, access and distance to the ocean vary from home to home and it is best to ask one of our knowledgeable Guest Services Representatives for specific information regarding these great properties!
- Oceanside Rentals
All of these homes are located on the ocean side of Highway 12. Many have fantastic ocean to sound views, while some have limited to no water views. These homes generally offer easy beach access.
- Soundfront Rentals
Few scenes can compete with the panoramic views offered by soundfront homes. All of these homes are located directly on the sound with no intervening homes, lots or private lands. Many of these homes are among the best windsurfing sites on the East Coast. The sunsets on the sound are incredible … and most of us see more sunsets than sunrises.
- Soundside Rentals
All of these homes are located on the sound side of the Highway 12. Most offer good water views and sound access for excellent windsurfing, boating, bird watching and kayaking. Many of these homes have deeded beach access and are just a short walk from the beach. Some have outstanding ocean views. The best of both worlds are on the sound side!
- Canalfront Rentals
Located on canals leading directly to the Pamlico Sound, many of these waterfront homes offer access and views comparable to soundfront at a very affordable price. Many have excellent boating and windsurfing access. In some locations, the beach is just a short walk away.
