Full Story Stranded Sailboat Still Sitting High and Dry on Avon Beach As of Tuesday night, the Gypsy Dane, A 50-ffot double masted sailboat, is still resting on the Avon beach where it landed early last Saturday evening. And it looks like the boat, and its owner, Yves Oger, will be staying there for a few more days. Park Service releases draft ORV management alternatives Mike Murray, superintendent of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, has announced that information about off-road vehicle (ORV) management alternatives being considered by the National Park Service (NPS) for Cape Hatteras National Seashore has been provided to the Seashore's ORV management negotiated rulemaking advisory committee.
