Having the largest housekeeping and maintenance staff of all property management companies on Hatteras Island is one of the greatest differences between Outer Beaches and our competitors. It means we can assure you that your home will be scrupulously cleaned, maintained and protected throughout the entire rental season.
With more than 60 years combined experience in our housekeeping department and 50 years in our maintenance department, we have the most veteran work force on Hatteras Island and the highest ratio of supervisors per home. We are an affiliate member of the Vacation Rental Housekeeping Professionals and in 2002 we were honored to have the VRHP Executive Housekeeper of the Year.
Each year, we will also conduct a courtesy inspection of your cottage and provide you with recommendations regarding housekeeping and maintenance issues that need addressing prior to each rental season.
Outer Beaches is the only company on Hatteras Island with its own separate commercial laundry facility. This means that on behalf of our participating homeowners, we are able to offer the island's only complete service package to renters: weekly laundered bed linens and beds made upon guests' arrival (throughout the entire rental season), so guests can catch a little 'shuteye' after that long drive.
