Gain a new appreciation for the Island at the Frisco Native American Museum.
This is the perfect experience to add to your vacation should you arrive early, on a rainy day, or even participate in making your own souvenir during the Art Classes held every Friday!
Rain or shine there is always something to do at the Frisco Native American Museum. Come in and view the thousands of Native American items including artifacts, sculptures, weavings, beadwork, paintings, tools, weapons, and much more (some even found on the property)!
Don’t miss the special tribute to warriors featuring the Code Talkers as well as the beautiful pottery and basket displays. Sit inside the indoor longhouse, or go outside to the Nature Trail to see a large version.
Check out the Spirit pole carvings and much more along the trail. The museum gift shop offers amazing and unique items, many handmade by Native Artists. Explore the museum bookstore which includes treasures for the whole family.
Call or check out their Facebook page to see what classes and special events are offered each week. Throughout the summer, Fridays are “Meet the Artist” days. Watch an artist work and sign up for a hands-on class at 2 pm Fridays.
