Hatteras Condos

Hatteras Condos are located in Hatteras Village, the southernmost town on North Carolina’s Outer Banks. Typically, Hatteras condos are close to the ocean, the Pamlico Sound or both, and they offer a range of amenities including community pools, wireless internet access, balconies or decks and stunning waterfront views. The small village borders the town of Frisco to the north and Hatteras Inlet to the south. Hatteras is also home to the free Hatteras Island – Ocracoke Island ferry, which makes year-round one hour crossings to our neighbor to the south. There is a 4WD access ramp located here where seasonal beach-goers can drive all the way to the inlet for exceptional shelling and fishing.

Hatteras is also home to the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, the Hatteras Island Library and a medical center. Visitors will also find a small and historic grocery store, a Visitors Center, and a number of shops, art galleries and restaurants. For shopping, visitors can head to the Hatteras Island Landing shops or the Stowe on 12 shops where a number of apparel shops and gift stores can be found.

The shoreline in Hatteras Village is renowned for its miles of empty open beaches and ideal conditions for fishing, shelling, swimming, surfing, and just having fun. Serene and isolated with just enough amenities for guests, Hatteras condos will have vacationers falling in love with this small town by the beach.

Rodanthe Condos

The town of Rodanthe is the northernmost town in the three tri-villages of Rodanthe, Waves and Salvo. The town borders the village of Waves to the south and the wide open terrain of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore to the north. Rodanthe condo rentals are close to a number of local attractions and amenities as well as the Atlantic Ocean.

Area attractions for visitors who are staying in Rodanthe Condo Rentals include the S-Curves, a popular surfing beach that’s located just outside the northern town borders, and the Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is approximately 13 miles long, and spans from the edge of Rodanthe to the Herbert C. Bonner Bridge. Home to a Visitors Center, a network of nature trails, and miles of open beaches, the refuge is a popular destination for birdwatchers and nature lovers. More than 350 different species of migrating birds have been spotted here, and the Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge is also the site of the annual Wings Over Water Festival held every fall.

Rodanthe is also famous as the home of the Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station, a small complex that include two late 1800s and early 1900s lifesaving service stations, which were the predecessors of the modern US Coast Guard. The Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station has been renovated and transformed into a small museum and a gift shop, which features an array of artifacts from the station’s years of operation.

Rodanthe’s other claim to fame is as the setting of the popular Nicolas Sparks’ novel and subsequent movie, Nights and Rodanthe, which is set in the coastal town. Outer Banks visitors who stay in Rodanthe condo rentals will be close to all the gorgeous beaches and soundside landscapes that made this town a favorite destination for romantics and ocean-lovers everywhere.
